Establish your sleeping routine
So, how does a noob achieve this state? Well, without further a due, let’s dive right in. One may say at their defence that they don’t dream or can’t recall dreams. If you are one of them but you still have you thirst of curiosity surrounding your head, Do not worry and buckle up to know about some techniques to get yourself familiarized in this surreal world full of messages.
One of the best move you can make as your initial step to dream lucid dreams is to have a stable sleep cycle at night. This sets you off to have a quicker result than the ones, whose sleep cycle is not stable. Although, they will dream lucid but result may come at snails pace. And look for taking notes of your dreams as you wake up or in the middle of the night.
Write down your dreams in the middle of the night
First thing you should do is keep a note pad right by the reach of your bedside. You need to set an alarm in the middle of the night, and as the alarm goes off, you will program yourself to wake up and immediately reach for the notepad and start jotting down your dreams. Recall as vividly as you can with some gory details. At first you may struggle but as you carry on, you will begun to get clearer pictures of your dreams over time.
Next thing you wanna pay attention to is categorizing you dreams under your custom labels. The next day when you will read your dream journal, if you may call it, look for some sort of signs or dream signs to precise. What do I mean by that? These signs are one of the signs that screams to you that this is dream, this is a dream! As you progress on about writing your dream journal, this will become much vivid over time. You should then remember these sign posts by taking a moment and embedding these posts deep in your mind.
Keep in mind reality check
Third thing in the list would be performing reality check. This check you will perform during your waking state. Common reality checks are counting your fingers. You will see if they are more or less than your usual number that is a clear sign you dreaming. Don’t go about mindlessly saying this can not be dream or you are not dreaming. Rather observe and let it go taking notes of your state.
